The functions of the nest at a glance

Your baby likes this close contact in the first few months, because it is used to it from the womb. The high wall of the nest tube also creates a sheltered atmosphere for your baby.
At the beginning we let our daughter Liva sleep freely in an extra bed, which resulted in some restless nights. When we used our first prototypes at night, the number of times we woke up at night decreased. Co-sleeping is also suitable for this.
So that your baby can continue to lie ergonomically in the lying surface after the first months of life,
you lay it, as shown in the picture, into the larger radius. As soon as your child's shoulders grow out of the lying surface of the small radius, you can start with that. It is important that your child can adopt a natural posture at all times. This is exactly what the two different radii guarantee.
The nest for your baby...
The Lalizou is ideal on the couch, on the floor, the picnic blanket or even in the family bed as a pillow, for co-sleeping/breastsleeping and as a sleeping aid. The topic Co-sleeping (sleeping with the child in the parent's bed) is a strongly polarizing topic. Many people believe that infants and young children should never sleep in the same bed as adults, while others believe that being together offers valuable emotional benefits.
As developers of Lalizou, we slept and still sleep together with our children (in the Lalizou) in our marriage bed at night. When properly used in an adult bed, the Lalizou is a great and safe way to be close to your baby.
The different nest tube diameters have also been chosen deliberately. They allow your little ones and slightly older ones to develop their motor skills. Their neck and back muscles, among other things, are trained through playful tummy times. To do this, place them on the nest tube with the chest as shown. Put a toy on the tube or floor and look forward to what will happen.
You can also place experienced babies in the middle of the lying surface. The sight of your child starting the first crawling attempts in the nest of Lalizou will enchant you. The absolute speciality and uniqueness of the Lalizou is that you can turn it around and get a second nest with more useful functions. This is the variant we use most when the children are awake. Due to the different circumferences of the nest tube, a wedge shape develops on the second side.
This causes your child to lie on the nest with its head slightly elevated. This allows your child to perceive its surroundings actively and without visual restriction. Whether during housework, sports/gymnastics/ yoga, in public transport, while resting on a meadow or at the beach: From now on you will be followed by big, curious and happy eyes. Your little ones can and will wriggle, kick and laugh like crazy. These are exactly the moments we wish for as parents. In the first few months you strap your baby to the baby lounge with the seat belt system. Later it can lie on the matress freely without trousers.
